List:

Around the middle of the keyboard of an Everett studio piano, year 1977,
several keys (not neighbors to each other) make a very audible click
when depressed, whether depressed fast or somewhat slowly. Sounds like
a loose hammer head but it's not. Disengaged the damper, still
clicks. Checked for loose glue joints in hammer assembly, all appear
intact. Bridle wire not hitting anything, strap tip is not hard,
backcheck wire not hitting letoff rail, felt on backcheck is same
density as normal. Tightened all wippen flange and hammer flange
screws, no change. Felt that is glued to the back of the catcher to
keep the jack from clicking is in place.

I am baffled! What am I overlooking?!
