Hello Keith, I am reporting verbatim what a diskclavier owner reported to me. They wanted the volume lower than it's lower setting. Yamaha sent me the foam because it had been their experience that when these symptoms had been reported to them previously, foam further reduced the volume to the point where customers were happy.
