Most all termites live in the ground with a water source. Break their connection to the piano, the dirt tubes they build to the wood, and the ones left inside will die in a day as far as I know. Since the queen is in the colony underground, the problem must be addressed there. Wood worms are different, I believe, and can entirely live in the furniture. Bill Simon Phoenix
