One thing to check is if the pedal has enough play in it. I have had many experiences with Acrosonics and Baldwins that had ringing dampers. It seems that if the pedal isn't on the loose side, the dampers will tend to ring. Make sure that there is at least 1/4" of pedal travel or more. See if this doesn't help. Paul McCloud San Diego
