Yes, you always pull the pin first, unless it's one of those nasty drilled
zither pins.   Then you just have to suffer and wish you had tiny   If the
hole is getting sloppy, now is when you take a shred of some fine paper, or
in a pinch your business card and pop it in the hole too.
