Refinishing: HLVP vs Conventional Systems

Using a top feed gun helps you to spray at much lower pressure, get much
less overspray and get a nice controlled spay.  I forgot to mention this
the other day when someone asked about refinishing plates. If the material
has to be sucked from below, it takes much more pressure.  Considering the
costs of HVLP, and the fact that I mostly just refinish plates, occasional
furniture, and already use air tools, I chose the top feed gun.  ($100?)
