Greetings All,
Have you tried substituting common paraffin wax in lieu of
the messy dag. NOT FOR BUTT LEATHER OR KNUCKLES> Many applications like
grand action return springs and trap work bushing it does a better job. One
trick we use for trap work and peddle bushings is to heat and drip the wax
into the bushings, since we started using this method a few years ago,
recalls on pedal sqeaks have dropped to zero. When rebushing damper lift
hanger do not glue the new bushing in place, just melt the wax into the
bushing rough size with an awl and reinstall, you will be suprised how
smooth and quiet the action will become. Same treatment for grand pedals
and pedal rods. The wax takes years to dry or wear out.
Get rid of your recalls,
