This all confirms my suspicions, but a dealer I normally respect was pushing them, so I wanted to hear from a more diverse group. It is only a matter of time before somebody asks me. It's amusing, a measure of the world, that similarly, rebuilding second rate harpsichords for clients, and turning them into good sounding reliable instruments accounts for a significant portion of my work. ab Anne Beetem Harpsichords & Historic Pianos
