Jim. list; I tuned (2 p/r's, 1 tuning - yes, same day) an old upright for a Batist minister's elder daughter. While tightening plate bolts I noticed the damper pedal rod disengaged. I figured she doesn't play much or she may have mentioned the pedal not working. Anyways, when I was done she began thumping out the hymns. She exclaimed: "You fixed the tempo pedal ! " I have found many stop rails pushed upwards from excessive trapwork travel. Jon Page Harwich Port, Cape Cod, Mass.
