May I suggest you use a company specializing in moving instruments. I moved a piano which was crated by George Golka, a local tech/mover. He built the crate, and we took the piano, a console, to the moving van. Through a comedy of errors, they had almost dropped the piano off the truck a couple of times before they had gotten it inside. If it's a fine instrument, it deserves the best attention possible.
