Dennis and dave, I would also love to know what's going on out there in terms of work load/pay. I attempted such a survey myself many years ago, and I know others have, too. Not to be too negative about it, I suspect there would be more to it than collating data. I and at least some others have found the rate of return to be pretty low, too low to trust the data (in itself an indication that CAUTs are overworked!). My guess is that it would take someone willing to bother and cajole people with personal contact, and I mean a lotta people. Does the CAUT Committee or whatever have any information about this? What is the most recent survey and how was the response rate? Bob
