The best way to get smoke out of a piano action and all, is to use an ozone machine. The action or entire piano has to be enclosed in a plastic tent with the ozone machine. It takes a day or so and the odour is almost entirely eliminated. Most companies that to reconstruction after fires etc. will have an ozone machine available.
