key bushings

I just started using the key-easing iron as sold by
Pianotek.  It is my practice to lubricate new
bushings with protek.  Does anyone know if that
kind of heat will affect the protek?  I can either apply
the protek before or after using the key-easing iron,
but would rather do it before.  Thanks in advance.
