The music desk on this 1845 piano is missing. I have deduced it would
measure about 7" X 20". Does anyone have a similar piano from the same
period and could send a picture file. The music desks seem to have gotten
more elaborate later in the 19th century.
Any recommendations on replacing strings with modern strings. The originals
are pretty rusty and not complete. Will modern strings put more tension on
frame for same diameters? Why?
