Hello Ron

Try gluing the red underfelt to the wood blocks first. Proper glues are: HOT
hide glue, "Tacky" (a glue specifically designed for fabric...available at
your local fabric store), or Titebond.

After the glue has dried, slice the wood blocks apart. Now you're ready to
glue the felt blocks onto the underfelt. As you glue on the felts, set them
into the piano (no need to put them into the wires back into the top flange
at this point) to dry. The next day, you can do any trimming of excess felt
below the strings (for bichord, and trichord felts) that might be necessary.

Good luck and have fun!!!
