Gina,
My wires used to break occasionly and it would always be at a time when I
needed the added speed of the thumb switch.(I have the origional thumb switch
that came with my SAT from Inventronics)
SOLUTION: Work silicon sealant into the plug where the wire enters. This
solidifies the plug to the wire and prevents the movement which causes the
wires to break.
