Dear list, Here are some questions about SAT: 1. Battery I know that NiCad batteries do need a deep discharge in order to last longer. The automatic shut off on SAT's does not help things a lot as the battery barely get to its ultimate low charge limit. Here's my question: Is there a critical point where using a discharged battery would dammage the device, its good functionning or even affect the stored tuning? 2. Magnetic field Is the proximity of some magnetic fields, like the magnetic pick up being too close to the device, could affect the memory pages, the ROM or anything else in the SAT? 3. Shock trauma How much "Solid State" is the SAT. Could it get over dropping it on the floor? (Please, don't try it in order to answer the question) Regards Michel Lachance, RPT
