Hmmm. I am not sure what the different pins you are describing are.
Cross-hatch?
The Yamaha will probably have 1/0 pins, or a similar size below the
normal 2/0.
I would suggest drilling the whole block for 2/0 pins, and using them. It is
the only way I can see a consistant job come out of a block that is so
variable.
