Masking tape adhesives tend to leave a residue behind if left on for more than
a few hours and is corrosive unless removed completely with an appropriate
solvent.

I prefer to use _NEW_ electrical tape because it has a less strong adhesive so
it tends to not leave a residue.

Chris Robinson had Karen make long thin cloth tubes filled with buckshot that
he laid over the duplex strings for silence.  More case weight I don't need but
it is a wonderful idea.
