Very true. I find a mild bleach solution does wonders. The other
important things to remember are light and air. Pianos that have been
flooded and quickly opened up with fans blowing and dehumidifiers running
show no mold development while ones that are kept closed (the owners were
busy ripping out drywall and insulation before the house mildewed) turn
into little furry penicillin farms.
