Bob, the Journal information on the Oslund equipment can be found in: Technical Forum/Harvey, J./Nov 1991/Page 13. Although they have names like "Keymaster" and other, the principal powered pieces of the Oslund group are the key surfacer that levels, and as necessary, removes key material for thicker covers; and the trimmer that rough-shapes the key blanks. Other than that, there may be one or more gang-style key clamps, and perhaps a glue roller. Charles Wilson in Tennessee used to advertise in the Journal classifieds about sales and service of Oslund equipment. Whether he's still into this I don't know, but you might contact him for information. His son Tommy is also knowledgeable. Hope this helps. Jim Harvey/RPT ______________________________ Reply Separator _________________________________ Recently acquired several pieces of key/keytop replacement equipment believed to be Oslund ?!? Have not a clue as to whether it is complete or functioning (it's now at a friend's shop; he's checking it out). We'd appreciate any info, comments, recommendations concerning this stuff. Thought there had been an article some time back, maybe years ago, in the Journal, but I couldn't find any reference in the indices.
