Greetings y'all, In reference to a thread of a month and a half to two months ago concerning the subject of recreation of sympathetic vibrations on digital pianos, Baldwin now has it available and is shipping. The new technology was just unveiled this past weekend at the Baldwin dealer's meeting and the sound is really incredible. This new series, designated the RP (for Real Piano) series, provides sympathetic vibrations from either the damper pedal being depressed or from the notes being held by hand, when other notes are played. Folks, please don't misconstrue this post as an ad, but merely letting everybody know that the technology is being applied to make a better product that does what we want it to.
