Richard West comments about being a waste of time also raised my eyebrows.  As
a practicing vocal music educator it is imperative that my piano (and the one
in the instrumental room) get tuned at the beginning of each year.  (touch-ups
as he year progresses) If I am lucky I can get to them before the students
show up.  There are times that I do not get to them until about the third
week, this is only because of my schedule.
