WWHHHAAATTTT????

I'll bet it's silent!!! When notes cease to play they tend not to make much
noise...extranious or otherwise.
Doesn't this *rubber material* (?) create an impossible friction condition?
Wouldn't simply replacing the knuckle(s) be a better solution. It certainly
couldn't take more time.
