Subject: Portable Vacuums

In case anyone is looking for a good portable vacuum which also has
excellent blowing capabilities, Sears has on sale until at least April 1
the Eureka, Mighty Mite II, 4.0 hp BOSS, 10.0 Amp for about $89. Many
Sears are also running a "Managers Special" where they can take an
additional 10% off the $89. In a recent PTG journal article, Mr.
Gravagne, I believe, mentioned that the Mighty Mites can be quite useful,
especially when one is on the road. One needs to be careful, though,
because Eureka has about 4 different Mighty Mites, all of different
horsepowers. The Imperial starts at 2.0 hp and is useless for blowing
off a soundboard. I own the 3.5hp model (which pulls about 62 inches
water static), but the 4.0hp BOSS will move more air and is the one on
sale at Sears. I thought I should post this because I faced some
aggravation last year trying to shop for a good portable vac.
