de-oderizing a piano

I once arrived to do the regular tuning on a Brambach grand to find the the
cat had sprayed the entire inside rim. The owner was furious, although I held
back from telling her it could have happened to a nicer piano. Six months
later the piano smelled clean. What she had used was a pad of "Bounce", which
usually gets tossed into the clothes drier to suppress static electricity.
