bass string space problem

Hi, Gordon,
      We NEED rain, here!
      It is not the oxides that bother me as much as the spurs dragging me
down with all them threads hanging from them.
      Glue lines don't bother me at all. 3/16" may very well keep you
inside the plug, which will not rotate because of the hole being off center.
      Question, was the original hole location causing a problem or are you
just creating a problem for yourself.  Something on the line of, "If it ain't
broke don't fix."
