Hamburg re-stringing question?

Hi, John,
      Yes there is a difference in the sizes of the wires which becomes
significant in the larger sizes.  More to the point is that there are
pianists that can hear the differences in the wires because of the different
charactoristics of the wire.
      String it with German wire.
      I have a full wire cabinet with both American and German wires and
use the American wire on American pianos and the German wire on european and
asian pianos.
