In regards to clutter, for some people perhaps a digest form of the list
would deal effectively with this problem. Is this option now available?

For those new to lists, basically it means that a person desiring to
receive the messages in digest form would unsubscribe to the list
"pianotech" and resubscribe to the the list "pianotech-digest." The
server, while also distributing the individual messages to those subscribed
to "pianotech," would collect the messages until a certain size is achieved
and then send the composite group of messages as one to each person
subscribed to "pianotech-digest." Most listservs are capable of this added
feature.
