Yes, a propos your Latin postscript I - of course - forgot to delete all the previous correspondence in the thread which contained all the previous correspondence that all the previous correspondents forgot to delete - and ad infinitum (nauseum?) - which of course generated another digest within an hour of the previous one. See what I mean?

Yes, mailman has such a setting. 

I'm not sure, but suspect Google-whatever does too. Whatever it is, I suspect that John and Jim will get to it as they can.
