I an tell you right now that if I have to jump into a website and navigate round to find threads and groups (not even sure what the purpose of that s) and various topic lines, this that or the other in a format that so far ust confuses me as to what and where things are, what's redundant, what sn't, I wont use it, or Ill certainly use it a lot less. Life's already oo short. The site is pretty and looks impressive. But for me, in 21st entury parlance, its not user friendly. Sorry, I'm sure it was a lot of ork to set up. David Love ww.davidlovepianos.com David I agree with you 100%. And it seems there are going to be quite a few people we're going to loose off the lists, both Pianotech and CAUT, and PTG-L. Perhaps, as you claim, that was the whole intent in the first place. but I'll miss all the camaraderie. When I want to post a message it akes me to the site (which takes forever) which is so small I cant even ee it (on the bb). Even if the bb memorizes the user and password and even f I enlarge several times navigating around the site is completely mpractical. Why cant they simply leave the email function as an option? r an option that allows for condensing all lists one signs up for in one ingle chronological or real time delivery system. Maybe that exists. If t does, I dont see it yet. But for the moment Im willing to operate under the assumption that I just ont get how to use it yet. However, I have a strong suspicion that this snt the format Im at all interested in and will likely just abandon it ltogether limiting my conversations off list with people that I want to ounce something off of (some may appreciate that possibility :-O). That ould be unfortunate as I enjoy the interactions with people unknown to me. met several of them at Westpac and other conventions--people I would not ave ever interacted with but for the list. The email system is just very onvenient and very efficient. I do 90% of my work at the computer on mail, either contacting clients, sending out invoices, reminders, etc.. eing able to simply pop over to my designated filtered file of Pianotech mails is very fast and easy, one stop shopping. I can scroll hronologically through all the posts very quickly and even sort by subject ine if I want to follow a particular thread, hit reply and bang, done. David Love ww.davidlovepianos.com If the web browser you are using has a "memory" function, when you want to espond to a posting, it may take a few seconds to come up, unless you leave he website up and running all the time, then all you have to do is bring it o front on your computer. en Gerler OK Ill take back my yuck (deleted from the subject line) conditionally ntil I figure this whole thing out and see where it goes. For the record, owever, should I have to log into the website for posting and reading once he email system shuts down I will consider that a change for the worse. Expedience, simplicity and ease of access is an essential part of the rogram for me. David Love -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
