The issue isnt so much at my computer, its on my blackberry and its the abandonment of the email delivery option. When I want to post a message it takes me to the site (which takes forever) which is so small I cant even see it (on the bb). Even if the bb memorizes the user and password and even if I enlarge several times navigating around the site is completely impractical. Why cant they simply leave the email function as an option? Or an option that allows for condensing all lists one signs up for in one single chronological or real time delivery system. Maybe that exists. If it does, I dont see it yet. But for the moment Im willing to operate under the assumption that I just dont get how to use it yet. However, I have a strong suspicion that this isnt the format Im at all interested in and will likely just abandon it altogether limiting my conversations off list with people that I want to bounce something off of (some may appreciate that possibility :-O). That would be unfortunate as I enjoy the interactions with people unknown to me. I met several of them at Westpac and other conventions--people I would not have ever interacted with but for the list. The email system is just very convenient and very efficient. I do 90% of my work at the computer on email, either contacting clients, sending out invoices, reminders, etc.. Being able to simply pop over to my designated filtered file of Pianotech emails is very fast and easy, one stop shopping. I can scroll chronologically through all the posts very quickly and even sort by subject line if I want to follow a particular thread, hit reply and bang, done. I can tell you right now that if I have to jump into a website and navigate around to find threads and groups (not even sure what the purpose of that is) and various topic lines, this that or the other in a format that so far just confuses me as to what and where things are, what's redundant, what isn't, I wont use it, or Ill certainly use it a lot less. Life's already too short. The site is pretty and looks impressive. But for me, in 21st century parlance, its not user friendly. Sorry, I'm sure it was a lot of work to set up. David Love www.davidlovepianos.com If the web browser you are using has a "memory" function, when you want to respond to a posting, it may take a few seconds to come up, unless you leave the website up and running all the time, then all you have to do is bring it to front on your computer. Ken Gerler OK Ill take back my yuck (deleted from the subject line) conditionally until I figure this whole thing out and see where it goes. For the record, however, should I have to log into the website for posting and reading once the email system shuts down I will consider that a change for the worse. Expedience, simplicity and ease of access is an essential part of the program for me. David Love
