Indeed we are "unseen" artists who are in collaboration with "seen" artists. Mutual consideration is imperative, and where it is lacking, it will show. If we monopolize the available time at the piano and the pianist doesn't have adequate time to practice, his performance will suffer and he will end up looking bad. But it will have been our fault. On the other hand, if the pianist doesn't allow us sufficient time to prepare the piano properly, the performance will also suffer and we will end up looking bad. But it will have been the pianist's fault.

Maybe some day this child will grow up. In the meantime, as you said, "He gets what he gets!!"
