Kent, Sorry to hear the punchings did not work out for your pianos and their players. I have never shipped these punchings to you so you must have been getting them from a different source. Now here is the kicker: there are several types and grades of Wurzen felt, with differences in density and resilience. It is possible that the punchings you have been buying are harder/less resilient than the Crescendo Punchings which I carry. Everyone should be advised that "Crescendo Punchings" is the house brand name of felts distributed only by Piano Forte Supply. It is a name that I coined. Did the felts you bought say "Crescendo" on the package? If so, this is a misappropriation. Perhaps there are other white felt punchings out there which are giving the "Crescendo" brand a hard time.
