Yes, and don't forget, if we tune all the strings to the breaking point tension, the piano will also have zero inharmonicity, just as it did before someone put all those nasty strings on there!

  You're pretty much correct, an infinitesimally thin wire would have infinitesimal inharmonicity.  Similar results would apply to a wire infinitely long or under infinite tension.  None of these is practical in a real piano!
