FWIW, my comments have been directed toward the NY Steinway which represent
95% of the Steinways that I work on.  I've found the Hamburg instruments
much more consistent in execution.

I cant speak to the execution claims made by some US techs about NY S&S.
But we don't 
anything I could see as fitting these descriptions from Hamburg.
