Hi Jennifer, One can "roll their own" power failure device. Acquire a small and cheap power failure automatic "on" flashlight. Replace the bulb with a buzzer. Plug the DC system into an extension cord that has three outlets. Plug the power failure unit into the same cord. I dislike the new fused plug--a right angle plug would be much better.
