Hi, David -

The Conover will probably be a good solid piano of quite conventional
construction. At Michigan State - 40 years ago! - we had a Conover concert grand
in one of the practice rooms. (Perhaps it's still there.) It was a real
favorite among the piano majors, although it was utterly overwhelming for its
small room. That's the only 9-footer I've ever seen. A couple of 6-footers
have come through our shop over the years.

List,

Any insights into a Conover grand piano? Donation...I'm looking at it next
week. Appropriate for a practice studio?
