From the horse's mouth, 9/23/08 Piano World Forum (I stumbled across this). "Tunic OnlyPure (the piano version of the Tunic software) is available for the iPhone now. iPhone version 2.0.2 upwards supports sample rates up to 44.1 kHz, so no problem to use it for piano tuning. You can try Tunic Guitar Free (available shortly on the App Store in iTunes) to get an idea of the look and feel of the program. Tunic OnlyPure will at the moment not appear on the App Store, since it is only intended for professional piano tuners, and is available through ad hoc distribution. You can get more information about the program on our homepage. Best regards, Bernhard Stopper http://www.piano-stopper.de" For anyone interested in Stopper's theory behind his 12th based tuning system, the following link has his basic article, apparently updated in 2004 from the original 1988. http://www.piano-stopper.de/html/stopper_tuning1.html Regards, Fred Sturm University of New Mexico fssturm at unm.edu
