Vince and I drove about 600 miles one way and shared a room so that with the $75.00 class fee, gas and food, the trip cost around $220.00. Well worth it!
At about 50 cents a mile in vehicle expenses, you didn't correctly account for the price of the pitch raise. Every mile wears out tires, oil, brakes, etc, etc. If you don't own your business, I think you can deduct 14 cents a mile and $15 a day food.
