[CAUT] finder's fees?

Hi-

From my experience also that is an extremely difficult area to
generalize. Somewhere between respectfully not allowing our contacts and
expertise to be taken for granted with overly long and frequent phone
calls, and maintaining the goodwill we have the luxury, freedom and
genuine concern to provide- it's a tough call. If you have a prior
agreement, as Eric mentioned, that would be different. For good or bad
I've never done that because I don't want to risk being perceived as a
salesman or dealer. The degree to which that decision may have been
influenced by sound and rational business judgment, or mistaken
irrational attitude - is not clear. I know my wife thinks I'm crazy
for not charging more. I tell her I'd would always rather error on that
side than the other. She just smiles and says nothing.

cheers,

dennis.
