[CAUT] Lack of low frequency response

Yeah... sound along those lines.. thinish, too much midrange.... nasal 
like.. The G2 kinda fits that.  Any other reasons why this occurs ?  How 
does scaling tension fit in ? Panel stiffness... rib scale... 
downbearing...  bridge dimensions etc. 

I'm wondering what you can do short of major rebuilding work like 
replacing a soundboard or the like to improve such instruments...

        Stingy in sound like the Yamaha G2? The board could be too thick.
