Nope, never have, and I usually never say never. Enco has an arbor press you
can modify for about $20.00. And just to catch up with all your posts David
Targeting the StikeWeight to match the existing leading is OK if the
StrikeRatio and Strike Weight marriage is close enough. You can and will
have to either float one of the key weight factors or friction. So that's
like target the DownWeight   float Upweight, BalanceWeight and Friction;
target the UpWeight float the downweight, balanceweight and friction and so
on. OR control Friction 8-12 grams, target Balance Weight and DownWeight and
float the Upweight but make sure it is over 26g OR there are lots of
variations that work in this box. Check out the Team Pianotek Hands On Grand
Action Renovation class at CA State in Feb 07 in SF for more.
The important thing is to start thinking in weight terms and playing with
the concepts. You are obviously on the right track, good luck.
