Please Do Not make your own ear impressions. When we were learning to make impressions in my audiology class, we were required to do them only when the supervising audiologist was observing and during normal working hours when the ENT office was open in case anything went wrong. We wouldn't expect our customers to tune their own pianos, yet we would consider taking our own ear impressions?
