[CAUT] keytops

Hi David,
Yes, I've started using the blue tape, which is for painting prep, and
doesn't leave sticky residue.
I think it's called 14day tape, see Home Depot.
The blue tape has a thousand uses around the shop, for quick temporary
labeling, storing parts, etc.

And, PVC-E glue comes off easy like little boogers, too.

Best regards,

Subject: [CAUT] keytops

List,

When installing new keytops scratches, glue residue etc. inadvertently gets
on the keytop. Has anyone tried masking tape before attaching the keys?
Does any keytop maker have a covering already attached?

David I.
