This one was a low bichord on a piano just over 10 years old. Bosendorfer sent me a defective replacement from their string scale pattern at first, and made me pay the shipping for the returning the original for duplication when the one they sent was defective. I lost big money on that one! Shipping at that time was about $50 each way plus the thirty something for the string. Ray ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ray T. The string cost $34 (from Boseendorfer) and I'm still waiting for it. I could have had it shipped UPS from Austria for about $150, but I decided to wait on the container. I asked the dealer who sold them this piano, who is also a technician, if he had any tips on tuning the bottom extra notes. He said, "If you break the string, you were too high." And there you have it. -- Ken Zahringer, RPT Piano Technician MU School of Music 297 Fine Arts 882-1202 cell 489-7529 ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
