If you can't swage (swedge?) (i.e., smash with hammer) the pedal to
tighten things up, I'd replace the pedal.  A large pin will be a problem
in the hinge brackets.

The fluted pedal pin on an older P2 is loose in the pedal. (The pedal
pin is at the end of the pedal, that attaches the pedal to the bracket.)
Anyone know where I can get thicker pins? Or do I need to get a new
pedal?
