If you can keep a near floor length cover over the harpsichord, immersing
it in  the localized climate, the Dampp-Chaser should help in spite of the
covered bottom. There's just no telling how much.

FWIW, I service several churches that use a "near floor length cover" on
their grands with Dampp-Chasers and enjoy improved stability.
