Lance,

Thanks for supplying the part numbers. With the numbers I was able to
find the files on their web site. ( I could not find the files initially
because I did not use the word diamond in the search) It appears that
they no longer offer the type of file Bill sold. The one I have measures
5"x1 1/2"x#3/16" and does not have a handle. The working edge is on the
1 1/2" side. When I described the the file to the sales person he said
they still had that model but I fear that I am getting the #5050 which
is not the same. We will see. As you mentioned, the offset #5053 could
possibly work. If my suspicion is correct, I may ask to exchange the
#5050 for the #5053. The dual-grit diamond file (#4456) is interesting
as well but I'm not sure that it would be useful for piano capos.

I believe the 150 grit file is all that is needed. You can use the 150
for the initial shaping and fine emery cloth for the finish. These files
are a bit costly but as I mentioned, I like the results from the file I
have.
