Just one thing. I'd like to point out that the 70°F @ 17%RH and below that we experience this time of year puts wood MC below the 4% level used in the making of purely compression crowned soundboards. 70°F @ 12%RH puts that soundboard MC below 3% - at which point we add nearly 1,000 pounds of string tension pulling it up 30c to 440 so plenty more compression damage will be done when the humidity goes up to 80% in the summer, making the soundboard just under 16%MC. You can hear those little Spruce fibers moaning in pain if you listen real careful. Too bad the folks who build these facilities can't. Ron N
